The leading community bank in its primary market, Norway Savings Bank wanted a fresh and memorable brand message to break through the heavy hitting, heavy spending big bank competition in adjacent markets. Our “More than money” campaign delivered a unified, highly differentiated brand image across unique print and broadcast advertising, consistent and motivating internal branding, colorful “real people” branch collateral, and Norway’s “virtual branch” on the web. Over a two-year period, name recognition, positive association and unaided awareness of Norway Savings all significantly increased; the campaign also won first place honors two years running at the ABA Financial Marketing Awards, besting over 350 campaigns from around the country.
